Comment: Its a great spot around this time, the weather being hot, the fish seem to gather in the pools near the moving water below the spillway...Last year I caught about a 3lb smallie and this year a 3lb large...gulp minnows on a 1/32oz jig with a small bobber has been the trick

Comment: I hit below the Moody St dam for the first time tonight from about 8-8:30 and got a 1lb smallie. It was getting dark and cloudy but there seemed to be a few decent casting spots.
