Married for 18 years to my best friend, three kids, a girl and two boys. my daughter is off to college in two months. I work as a cnc machinist. I love to fish for all species and hunt for deer and turkey. I am always looking for private land digs or a trip in the boat for that matter.

This was my first time on this lake, we got there a little latter than planned , about 8 am. By 9:30 we were roasting! We hit the first island and caught a small rock bass. We then pounded the shore with rubber worms, spinner baits, and everything else in the box and came up empty. We got lots of bights but no one wanted to commit. the heat, blue skies and high pressure must have been really squeezing their brains, well thats my excuse anyway(lol). on a positive note, the lake is beautiful, I think it has lots of potential. The public boat ramp is very nice (we launched from the Danbury end in Lattins Cove). The DEP was there and gave us a voulantary safety inspection as we were leaving, we passed(not bad for a 1964 hull). The only other notes from the DEP was it is totally crazy on the weekends so go early or during the week. The other thing they brought up was to remove all the weeds from your prop, boat and trailer before leaving. The fine is $100 per plant if you don't and nobody wants that! This is the first trip i have posted sorry no fish and no pics (it was too hot to even take the camera out of the bag), thats why they call it fishin, not catchin. I will try this lake again!
