Headed out to the Salmon River for only the second time this year! Baby Dave's taking up my time these days. Water level was rediculously high from rain storm the night before, so I only caught one brookie. Still nice to get out on the water.

Fred, Nate, Ford, and myself took a trip out to Alaska to hike, backpack, and fish Wrangel St. Elias National Park and Denali National Park. The trip started with flying into Anchorage, AK. We then drove to McCarthy where we picked up a bush plane to drop us into Tebay Lakes in Wrangel St. Elias. Spent 5 days catching tons of Rainbows in and around the lakes. After Tebay Lakes, we took the Denali Highway up to Denali National Park. Fished the creeks and streams along Denali Hwy for Graylings and Rainbows. Then spent the last days in Denali National Park for wildlife viewing.

Went over to Wethersfield Cove on Saturday evening for a short canoe trip. Weather was perfect, but fishing was far from it. Came away with two fish and several bites.

Fred: 1 Brown, 1 Rainbow (Lunker)
Nate: 2 Browns, 1 Lake Trout

Went to Dooley Pond to try out the new canoe for the first time. The wind continued to push us to the northern end of the pond so we ended up paddling probably more then fishing. Kristen caught a Yellow Perch and I got a Black Crappie.

Went out to fish the Jeremy and Upper Salmon River this afternoon. Been a while since I've been out and had little luck (only one small trout), but still good to get out and try different areas of the river.
