Forge Pond, Hanover 10/8/13
It was a wonderfully crappie day. Man they were hungry! Caught 4 Crappie in a matter of 30 minutes in the small outlet to forge pond. They put up some good fights on my light rod.

That's where we put in... have for years.. the Hanover PD sit there all the time.. the only place i've ever been checked for my fishing Lic.. Never had an issue with any B/E. some shady people on the bridge now and then.. but my Hubby's pretty big so they leave us alone..

Thanks. I have gone into Factory through Landers. Not crazy about the parking area. Has B/E written all over it!

we use a Jon boat, but been close up the river from Factory heading towards Forge.. some downed trees get in the way and it's been really shallow.. you can put up to a small trailer boat into factory directly. great fishing in there.. now that the lily's are fading off we car troll all over there. it's low so putting in can be hard but it's worth the effort..I can tell you how to find the factory make shift ramp if you need it..

The weeds have thinned out a lot. You'd have to portage your kayak past some water falls to get to Factory Pond from Forge.

Been meaning to get the yak in there. What's the weed status? Can you kayak down the river into Factory?

Ive never caught anything on that side of the street.. nice job.. there's some pretty big LM at the far end of the other side of the pond/street and down river at Factory holds some good size LM also.
