First Spot Shore Fishing The Cape.
We went to Robbins Pond in Harwich. Some of the ways back there are blocked off but theres one dirt road right to the pond with a short walk. We fished from shore with topwater frogs in yhe grass to either side. Stright ahead was pretty clear of coverage so I tried throwing a spinner bait but only got bites with the frog. We stayed there for about and hour and a half and caught a few 2 pounders [large mouth]. We tried the ponds off Chippingstone in Chatham too and didn't catch a single fish, not even a bite. Gunna go out again maybe try some places in mashpee or falmouth so lets pray for no lightening!
