Dudley Pond Sunset Sojourn
After leaving too early last time I came, due to other non-fishing commitments (perish the thought), I was determined to stay until nightfall for my second venture on Dudley.
And yeah, I took the advice of MAFF friend Chris Ravosa and did a wacky rig on my usual senko worm, rather than Texas-style weedless. It paid off pretty well, with a 2 pound LMB, a 16 inch pickerel, and a couple of smaller bass.
Equally fun was watching another group of fishermen, a trio of raccoons working the shoreline in one of the coves as the sun set. :-)
As I pulled up to the launch next to the Chat, just as it was getting really dark, a father and son team were setting off in their jon boat to fish the night shift. :-)
